What does the Future Hold...

I am always envisioning how I can progress my bakery and make it more accessible to my beloved customers. After the calm down from summer's Farmer Markets, I've been pondering how to continue to serve you all every month, every week, even every day. How to expand my menu and offer more than just cookies, but also maintain my personal life and full time career. It has been widely encouraged and desired that I open a brick and mortar shop on Main Street to indulge your daily bakery needs.

I have brooded long over this, running scenarios and creating a space I think would bring joy and connection to everyone, but I hesitate. My love and joy for baking is deeply rooted and long fostered and I would like to maintain that love. I fear that HAVING to bake every day would diminish my love and dim the joy I experience when I bake. I want my bakery to be lasting, creating for you for many years to come and with that, I need freedom. Freedom to create, freedom to explore and travel to find new inspiration, and freedom to step away from the oven and mixer for days at a time. I am grateful for the Montana Local Food Act and Cottage Law that allows me to bake for you from my home and maintain the variety and freedom I desire in my life.

While a brick and mortar store front is on the back burner, I am working tirelessly to bring you easy access to my cottage bakery. Monthly Cookie Boxes are launched and I am finding creative ways to bring you events for you to delight in sweets and treats on a regular basis. Events will look different every month bringing you a diverse range of baked goods and moments in time to create memories. My first events will revolve around my Monthly Cookie Boxes. I hope to join in the Christmas Stroll and host a Christmas Party this year. Fingers crossed!

Enjoy the fall air and a plate of delicious cookies - cheers.
